Denim should be washed sparingly and only when necessary, in order to preserve the integrity of the fabric. Wash your jeans inside out in cold water with like colours. Add a cup of vinegar to the wash to prevent fading. Although the vinegar may leave a temporary scent, it will disappear with wear. Don’t soak, bleach, rub or wring your denim. Ironing and tumble drying are not recommended as they may cause shrinkage or fabrication damage.
